Science in action at Brussels Innova: a mass of grey cells

4.000 m² of exhibition space, housing exhibitions from 20 countries, with 250 innovations in the running: Brussels Innova, the world exhibition on inventions, research and new technologies, opens its doors for its 65th edition from 17 to 19 November 2016 in Hall 10 at Brussels Expo!

Educate young people about careers in science and technology

Brussels Innova also aims to educate young people about careers in science and technology through workshops. Every year, we call upon researchers and students at Belgian universities, polytechnics and research centres to lead creative and scientific educational workshops for primary (years 7 to 10) and secondary school pupilsEquipped spaces are made available to you to provide fun activities on many different scientific topics.

A place for international exchanges

The international pavilion will showcase many innovations and inventions that will take you to over twenty countries! Universities, embassies, project leaders, inventors and innovative companies will take you on a journey of discovery through the creative ideas of their countries.

Every effort is made to help you expand your network with valuable, high-potential contacts.

Those participating in Brussels Innova, both as exhibitors and visitors, come from over 20 countries and have very diverse profiles:

  • regional bodies,
  • innovation support organisations,
  • business incubators,
  • R&D departments of major companies,
  • universities,
  • chambers of commerce,
  • investors and business angels,
  • patent offices,
  • potential partners, employers and employees

Over half the participants hold executive or management positions.
